Miner Elementary School is proud to be a member of the Capitol Hill, H Street, and Kingman Park neighborhoods of our Nation's Capital! To encourage engagement between Miner and its community, we are happy to participate in and promote educational and family-related events and activities occurring in our area.
Hill Family Biking is a Community group founded by a Miner family that is all about empowering families to bike by providing education, organizing community building events, and advocating for safer streets. They hold monthly bike rides starting at different locations on Capitol Hill. Everyone is invited to join. - 7:45 AM in Lincoln Park // Walk (and Roll) to School Day: Join families from Miner and our sister schools on Capitol Hill for this annual tradition! Meet in the park to gather and hear speeches from local dignitaries, then bike together to Miner to start the day! More information here.
